Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a great meal with my family at CQ Noodles! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The noodle bowl was delicious with tender meat, fresh vegetables, and a tasty chili sauce. The boiled dumplings were juicy and full of flavor, and the clay pot potato noodles were rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Friendly service, generous portions, and great value. I’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the Mala spicy fish fillet mixian! The broth was the highlight deep, flavorful, and super comforting. The fish tasted fresh and tender, and the noodles soaked up the flavor really well. The restaurant felt clean and cozy, and the service was friendly. There was no long wait when we went. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely will come back!

One of those hole in the wall places that San Franciscans love. Excellent Shanghai food. I had the Shanghai wonton / dumplings. Delicious broth, huge bowl, very very tasty Price was good $13 and service attentive and pleasant. Clean bathroom. I will definitely be coming back for more of the delicious hand pulled noodles when I have a group

I ordered the Dan Dan noodles (peanut sauce) and the spicy beef tendon and tripe noodle soup at C.Q. Noodles, and both were really good — which says a lot because I’m not usually a big fan of either dish.

Dinner tasted amazing, fresh noodles, great spice level. The fried buns were an absolute delight and the spicy cucumbers were a nice touch. Very friendly and not overbearing service. Highly recommend the place.
